The International Exhibition Centre “Moldexpo” has a new interim General Director. PAS municipal councillor Zinaida Popa took over after Carolina Chiper’s resignation, according to the Public Property Agency.
Popa will manage the institution during the transition until a public competition is held. Although she had not previously worked in the exhibition industry, authorities highlight her public administration experience in the Chișinău Municipal Council.
The municipal councillor role remains compatible with the new Moldexpo mandate, and former director Carolina Chiper will continue working within the institution.
